Yes — in Victoria you must hold a valid learner permit before your first driving lesson. You can apply for one through VicRoads (an online or in-person knowledge test is required). Brandon can walk you through what you need if you're unsure.
Lessons are priced by duration — 45 minutes, 1 hour or 90 minutes — alongside a 2.5-hour drive test package. Every price includes GST, and the current figures are listed on the pricing page. Payment is by bank transfer or PayID once Brandon has approved your booking, so there are no card fees and no third-party platform.
Brandon teaches across Melbourne metro, including Ascot Vale, Carlton, Deer Park and Sunbury. Because the lessons are mobile, they start and finish at your home, work or school rather than at a depot. Bookings run from 7:00am to 7:00pm Monday to Saturday, and the postcode checker on this page will tell you if your suburb is covered.
Lessons are conducted in a modern, well-maintained dual-control vehicle — fully compliant with all VicRoads requirements. Automatic transmission is available if you prefer not to learn manual.
Just your learner permit (physical card or digital via the Service Victoria app) and safe, enclosed shoes (no thongs, sandals, bare feet or heels). Everything else — car, insurance, logbook guidance — is taken care of by Brandon.
Absolutely. Brandon regularly teaches adult learners who are coming to driving for the first time, or returning after a gap. There's zero judgement — lessons are paced entirely around you, and many adult learners find Brandon's patient approach particularly valuable.
